Welcome to the official site for the University of New Hampshire Horse Trials, proud to have celebrated its 40th year in 2011!

The University of New Hampshire Horse Trials is pleased to announce three exciting changes for 2015!

First, we have added a TN division, due to popular demand.

Second, each event will feature two, one day, horse trials; PT, T and BN will run on SATURDAY and P, TN and N will run on SUNDAY.

Finally, we are proud to be the first event in Area I to offer an INTERCOLLEGIATE TEAM CHALLENGE. This competition is open to ANY current college student competing at ANY level. There is no extra fee for participating. Please indicate on your entry that you wish to participate and which college you are attending; secretary will make teams of 3-4 riders. Scores will be calculated based on the rules set forth by the Intercollegiate Equestrian League (see for more info). You may also create teams of your own and alert the secretary as to the composition. Awards will be distributed at the end of the second day of competition.

The University of New Hampshire Horse Trials is proud to be a part of The Jockey Club's Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.).  The T.I.P. has provided a high point ribbon, prize and prize money for the best scoring Jockey Club registered Thoroughbred at each level at both of our 2015 competitions.  In addition, the second best scoring Thoroughbred at each level will receive a reserve champion ribbon.   Riders and horses must have a T.I.P. number to be eligible.  Please visit for more information or to sign your OTTB up!
